PROJECT OVERVIEW
Designing two interconnected digital products to modernize how a festival operates behind the scenes and how attendees experience it.
The Wildbloom Festival Series project explores the design of a connected digital ecosystem consisting of two distinct but complementary products: an internal administrative management platform and a consumer-facing festival attendee application.
Developed as part of Arizona State University's graduate-level GIT 520 course, this project simulates a professional agency-client engagement in which Sun Devil Design is tasked with modernizing Wildbloom's digital infrastructure.
The central design challenge extends beyond creating visually appealing interfaces. Wildbloom's existing content management process relies on manually coded website updates, requiring developer involvement whenever festival information changes. This creates operational inefficiencies, limits the organization's flexibility, and makes it difficult to maintain consistent information across digital channels.
The proposed solution introduces a centralized administrative tool that enables festival employees to independently manage event details, vendors, musical acts, and associated media. This information is intended to support both the future attendee application and the public-facing website.
The second product, a mobile attendee experience, translates that centralized information into an intuitive interface where festivalgoers can discover events, explore performers and vendors, and purchase tickets.
Together, these products illustrate how thoughtful UX/UI design can connect internal business operations with customer-facing experiences.
Description: A collaborative interactive art history experience designed to help users explore artistic movements, artists, and artwork through a chronological timeline. Our team developed site maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, refining the experience through two rounds of usability testing.
THE CHALLENGE
Create an engaging, intuitive way to explore art history while balancing educational content, accessibility, and navigation across multiple interconnected pages.
MY CONTRIBUTION
Led a six-person team on the UX design process, including user-flow planning, prototype development, and usability-driven improvements.
PROCESS & DECISIONS
Developed a four-level site structure and progressed from low- to high-fidelity designs. Testing informed improvements to navigation, artwork imagery, interactive elements, and content organization.
03/ Product & Project Management
Curriculum Development | Technical Instruction & Student Mentorship
Organization: National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC)
Position: Head Teaching Admin — Game Design 2025
Teaching Admin — Game Design 2024
Assistant Teaching Admin — Game Design 2023
Focus Areas: Unity, C# Programming, Game Development, Animation, Curriculum Development, Technical Instruction, Student Mentorship, and Creative Production
Project Overview
As a Head Teaching Assistant for the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC), I played an active role in supporting the Game Design program and contributing to the educational experience of high school students interested in game development, animation, and interactive media.
This position gave me the opportunity to apply my academic background in Games & Interactive Media to a hands-on teaching environment, where I helped students explore the technical and creative processes involved in developing interactive experiences.
My responsibilities extended beyond traditional classroom assistance. I supported curriculum delivery, taught technical concepts using Unity and C#, guided students through development challenges, and helped them transform their creative ideas into functional projects.
Working with students of varying experience levels required me to adapt complex technical material into understandable lessons while encouraging creativity, experimentation, and independent problem-solving.
My goal was not simply to help students complete their projects, but to give them a stronger understanding of how game development works and the confidence to continue exploring it independently.
Project Management | Timeline Development | Resource Allocation | Notion ↗
This collection of project management exercises demonstrates my approach to organizing complex schedules, coordinating responsibilities, and translating project requirements into actionable timelines.
Using Notion, I developed structured task-management systems for two distinct scenarios: a dual-format coupon incentive program and a large-scale wedding event. Both required detailed scheduling, resource allocation, deadline management, and consideration of overlapping activities.
For the event timeline exercise, I developed a detailed operational schedule coordinating venue preparation, catering, vendors, entertainment, photography, ceremony activities, and event breakdown. The timeline accounted for dependencies, simultaneous tasks, staffing requirements, and time-sensitive transitions.
Together, these exercises highlight my ability to use digital project management tools to build organized, practical workflows that support cross-functional coordination and efficient execution.
MSU Safe Halloween — Event Production & Community Engagement
Position:
Director, 2025
Director of Sponsorship, 2023
Focus Areas: Event Production, Project Management, Logistics Coordination, Community Engagement, Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Project Overview
As the Director of Safe Halloween at Michigan State University, I had the opportunity to lead the planning and coordination of a large-scale community event that brought together university students, campus organizations, and local families for a safe and engaging Halloween experience.
Safe Halloween was more than a traditional campus event. It was an opportunity to connect the Michigan State community with local families while encouraging student involvement, volunteerism, and community engagement.
My role involved overseeing the organizational aspects of the event, coordinating with student leaders and participating organizations, and helping transform a shared vision into an organized experience.
This position allowed me to apply my interests in project management, event production, and creative leadership while working toward a meaningful community-focused goal.
Assistant Site Director, Logistics Coordinator | National Student Leadership Conference | UCLA | Summer 2026
Project Overview
As the Assistant Site Director of Logistics for the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) at the University of California, Los Angeles, I helped oversee the daily operations of a large-scale summer educational program serving approximately 230 students and 35 staff members across six academic programs: Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Film, Music, Game Design, and Animation.
My role focused on ensuring that every aspect of the conference operated efficiently, from transportation and facility coordination to scheduling, purchasing, and event production. Working alongside the site leadership team, I managed complex logistical requirements while supporting an engaging, organized, and memorable experience for students and staff.
My Role & Responsibilities
I coordinated operational planning across multiple programs, balancing competing schedules, facility requirements, transportation arrangements, and event deadlines. My responsibilities included maintaining organizational trackers and master schedules, coordinating with external vendors, managing purchasing requests, preparing transportation documentation, and supporting major conference activities.
I also developed a comprehensive 10-page office operations manual to help standardize procedures, organize essential information, and improve communication across the leadership team.
